Presenting....a Vintage CACHE POT / HOLDER / OPEN CUBE / PLANTER from BENNINGTON Potters, Vermont.....speckled all-over in CLASSIC BLUE & WHITE Agate.   A VERY VERSATILE and HEFTY piece indeed, measuring approximately 4" across one way x 3 7/8" across other way x 3 3/4" high x 1/4" thick, INCISED on the bottom with the Bennington name and number. There are the usual, as well as irregular marks (as seen in last picture) from the pottery-making process, variations in the coloring of the spongeware / spatterware process, and glaze misses and anomalies; please view all pictures.  Crafted by hand in a free-form style, no two pieces will be exactly alike.....each has its' own personality!  Shipped USPS Priority Mail with Insurance & Tracking; or Ground (insured with tracking).  Thank you for visiting my listings; please email with any questions.
