    Shuron
    began manufacturing eyeglasses and frames in 1865 in Geneva NY and
    was the primary source
    of optical products and machinery for independent and wholesale
    laboratories in the 1920s.
    Shuron
    eventually moved to Rochester, where it competed with
    Bausch and Lomb.
