1909 Life Magazine SUFFRAGETTE NUMBER w/ Cartoons & Suffrage Centerfold

Description

Here is an original issue of LIFE Magazine dated September 23, 1909 and is the "Suffragette Number".  The dimensions are  approx. 8 7/8" by 11" and has numbered pages 401 through 420.  The cover by C. Coles Phillips features a woman at her writing desk as she looks at a calendar with many men's faces X-ed out.  Inside are other suffrage cartoons and a centerfold of women in line on Election Day.  There's also a cartoon featuring Peary & Cook at the North Pole.  The condition is good - no tears or stains - although the bottom 2" of pages are unbound from the spine at its bottom with a few unbound centerfold pages and it is missing its back cover.  Thanks for looking at this auction.
